School sets future goal

THE head teacher of a primary school in New Ireland’s Namatanai says they plan to reach grade 12.
Warangansau Primary School head teacher Patrick Aminio told MP Walter D Schnaubelt that they catered for only elementary and primary school students.
The school recently opened a K29,000 double classroom funded by the Namatanai development authority.
It was allocated K75,000 by the district.
“We will use the balance to build teachers’ houses,” Aminio said.
Board member Tuarong Tioti said the school also needed an information communication technology building and a school hall.
Schnaubelt said the district development authority had spent about K10 million in the education sector.
