School stages awareness

NEW Rock Elementary School in Lae engaged a public awareness to instil self-confidence among children at an early age yesterday at the Lae Top Town main bus-stop.
The idea was to encourage young children to develop self-confidence in public speaking and showcase what the children had learnt at the school.
Funds raised during the awareness will go towards the closing ceremony of their academic year.
School chairman Samuel Alert said many of the activities that children put on show for the public were not in the education system but were initiated by the school as aiding tools for the enhancements to students’ learning.
