THE Moramora Technical Training School in West New Britain is a potential fisheries training institution for the region, Fisheries adviser Newell Sinaigawi says.
Sinaigawi said the training centre had been conducting fisheries training for school leavers.
He said the provincial administration had recommended the institution be recognised by the National Fisheries Authority and be developed into a New Guinea Islands Regional Fisheries Training School.
Sinaigawi said this would be achieved once the National Fisheries College began conducting courses in Moramora from Kavieng.
