Schools rugby resuming after week off

THE National Capital District Schools Rugby League competition will kick off round three at Sir John Guise Stadium on Sunday.
The competition had a week off last week after the completion of round two due to the Grade 8 national examination. In the boys’ division, Ekivaki and Philip Aravure are in the top-two out of eight schools after they registered two wins from two rounds while Taurama and Kaugere have each registered one win and one loss.
Gerehu Primary are last with no wins while three other schools are also yet to register a win but have each recorded one loss and a draw.
In the girls’ competition, which consists of only four schools, Kaugere are on top of the ladder with two wins from two rounds.
