Scrap OBE, time for a review

I believe those who support the OBE are myopic.
Can’t they see the obvious?
The OBE must be scrapped and we need a major review of our education curriculum.
If our children were to stake a place in this global world, they must have a good command of English.
To move our country forward, we cannot afford to retard the intellectual development of our children by teaching them in their local dialect.
A child’s brain is like a sponge.
They learn fast and if they were taught to speak and write English from an early age, it will give them the start they need.
What they learn in the formative years will hold them in good stead in future.
OBE does more harm than good because our children learn tokples instead of English.
This is “killing” the intellectual growth of our children.
There is no future for them in this modern world.
If there is no future, then there is no PNG.
Children are our future and we must give them the right start and that is using English from the first day they enter elementary school.
It is time to review OBE.
Better still, scrap it.
