Second batch graduate

DIVINE Word University St Benedict’s campus in Wewak witnessed its second batch of Bachelor in Education (primary teaching) students graduate on Nov 20.
The programme unfolded with the Missioning Mass on Nov 19 saw a total of 188 graduates being sent out to the nation with the Cross of Christ to serve.
Among the graduates, 61 graduated with a bachelor’s degree and 127 with diplomas.
Cardinal Sir John Ribat and East Sepik Governor Allan Bird were guests of honour.
Divine Word University president Prof Cecilia Nembou outlined at the graduation many of the things St Benedict’s campus had achieved during the year.
Nembou also said the school will set up a campus in Yangoru-Saussia.
