Secretaries gain skills at meeting

 KOKOPO, in East New Britain, this week played host to administrative secretaries and assistants from around the country for the annual PNG Association of Administration Professionals conference. 

Vice-president Jenny Korei said the women hoped to achieve new things from the meet and she was looking forward to the changes, especially on the latest technology for office professionals.  

The purpose of the conference is to equip the secretaries with skills in administrating challenges in their offices. The annual event brings together office professionals to discuss issues and challenges and to develop strategies to overcome them.

They hope to learn new skills to enhance their professional image such as upholding, preserving and incorporating ethical behaviour, demonstrating standards required of them.
