Security personnel urged to behave

THE guardians of Lae public amenities, Menyamya Morobe Security Service(MMSS), have been urged to behave and discipline themselves when doing their job.
“The general public will expect your disciplined work to reflect who you are,” acting city manager Murewe Zurenuoc said last week at the launch of the street market clean-up campaign..
“To discipline other human beings, you have to discipline yourself first. Your behavior, attitude and characteristics have to demonstrate the type of person you are.”
Zurenuoc said the people were already respecting the work of the MMSS in enforcing safety from violent pick pockets and street hawkers.
He said the MMSS’s work showed that it was disciplined in policing law and order.
