PAPUA New Guinea international Tommy Semmy says he is aiming to help the Hamilton Wanderers win the International Sports Promotion Society Handa Premiership, New Zealand’s premier football competition. The 25-year-old forward told The National from Hamilton yesterday that they were aiming to qualify for the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Champions League by their domestic competition. “We want to win the league and represent New Zealand in the Champions League,” Semmy said.
“That will mean a lot to me and I believe the rest of the team as well but it’s up to us to work hard.
“I’m looking forward to the season kick-off in November.
“We’re now playing in the Northern Region Football League Premier. I’m returning to full fitness and doing well.”
