Rush Soccer Papua New Guinea technical director Peter Seske and Oceania technical director Kenneth Kay will coordinate programmes and selections for a player camp in December.
Rush Soccer is an international sports organisation aimed at developing soccer players from as young as schoolchildren. The camp is scheduled to take place in Hawaii from Dec 27-30.
Interested clubs, individuals and families in PNG are invited to register and become members of FC Morobe Wawens to be part of the programmes for the benefit of their players and children.
Seske said the programme would also have Asian and Oceania players attending camp.
“The invitation to FC Morobe Wawens (RUSH PNG) by Kay — who is based in Samoa — will expose young players to quality training and showcase their potential in front of college coaches for possible selection to play soccer in the United States.
“This also brings the international player market to FC Morobe Wawens’ doorstep.
“Senior players will also get the chance to be scouted by US and international coaches.
“Colorado is the headquarters of Rush Soccer and has members all over the US and the world. PNG and Samoa are new full members in the Oceania region.”
“I thank Kenneth and Brian Lux, of Rush USA, for having the trust to open the doors for PNG to benefit through soccer development for players and technical officials.”
