MORE than 500 settlers along Dapu, Waraston, Wusipi and Pasi in Vanimo town have been affected by the collapse of the Dali bridge on Monday.
Police commander Inspector Moses Ibsagi said the bridge was regularly used by locals travelling to town. It connected the four villagers near the town.
Ibsaga said people were now using a track in the forest.
“The bridge that serves locals is no longer available. The authorities should fix it,” he said.
