Shah replaces Graham as NBPOL boss

Mohammed Azlan Shah is the new chief executive officer of New Britain Palm Oil Ltd group.
He was appointed by parent company Sime Darby Plantation (SDP) to oversee operations in PNG and the Solomon Islands.
SDP group managing director Mohamad Helmy Othman Basha said Shah was the general manager for NBPOL West New Britain.
He takes over from Jamie Graham who resigned after 32 years of services at NBPOL and the PNG agriculture sector.
NBPOL country manager and chairman of PNG Palm Oil Producers Association Robert Nilkare thanked Graham for his commitment to PNG and its people.
Shah has more than 33 years of experience in the oil palm/rubber industry, starting his career as a plantation executive and served as general-manager for Aceh & Riau Selatan in Indonesia.
Between 2007 and 2018, he was head of mechanisation-precision agriculture, head of Perak South, general manager of Selangor West Zone and regional chief executive officer of Central East Region.
He joined NBPOL’s biggest operation in West New Britain as general manager in January 2019.
