TEAMS will look to step up when the Private Companies Netball Competition resumes at the Rita Flynn Indoor Complex in Port Moresby on Sunday, according to an official.
The competition will resume on Sunday after three weeks break in festive season which will see matches played across 17 divisions at the Rita Flynn Courts.
President Julie Hau Mai told The National yesterday that the competition would resume with game two of round two after a three-week break over the festive period. A total of 51 matches will be played across all the divisions.
She said the two-round competition would see each side play five games in each round in their respective six-team divisions.
Sides in the premier division will play six games since it consists of seven teams. Round one was completed last month.
Hau Mai said there were only three weeks left for the round-robin matches before the finals.
The finals will see the top-four playoffs in all divisions with the grand finals to be played on March 1. Hau Mai said the competition had gone from strength to strength with teams becoming more competitive over the years.
Meanwhile, she said the ladders for all divisions had been released before the festive season.
Hau Mai urged teams that had any queries regarding the ladder to contact the competition secretary via email.
