Sinebare: University fees to stay same as last year

THERE is no increase in school fees for the University of Goroka (UoG) for this year, Vice-Chancellor Prof Musawe Sinebare says.
Sinebare said the decision to keep the fees the same as last year was made by the university governing council in a meeting in October.
“The council understands that Papua New Guinean families are struggling to secure funds for school fees,” he said.
“This means the fees have remain unchanged the last three years.
“Families are facing problems raising the fees for their children to come to UoG.
“So, as part of the university’s commitment to the people of Papua New Guinea, the fees for all categories will remain the same.”
Sinebare urged parents, guardians and sponsors to check the fees which would be published in the newspapers.
