GOVERNOR-GENERAL Sir Bob Dadae says the 7th graduation ceremony of Enga Teachers College is a testament to the institute’s achievement and success the institution over a short time.
Sir Bob, who was a guest at the graduation in Wabag on Friday, said the college had achieved a high degree of teacher training compatible and comparable to other teachers’ college in the country.
“I see also the physical transformation of the college – the new administration building, a four-level lecture block, new four-level and three-level dormitories for male and female teacher trainees and a mess hall,” he said.
“All of these took place within nine years since the college was established.
“This is a remarkable achievement for the college and speaks of the commitment and dedication of the provincial government, college administration, governing council and staff.
“Your vision, ‘to prepare teachers who are morally, ethically and professionally responsible to the children’ is fitting and is in line with the over arching national goal of integral human development.”
