Sir Mahesh on a mission

Business

CITY Pharmacy Ltd founder and director Sir Mahesh Patel is travelling around the country to learn more on small to medium enterprises associated with agriculture.
“I am planning to go to Tari in the next couple of weeks, to see what’s happening there.
“There is huge potential in agriculture.
“That is one of my passion.
“My aim is to get immersed with the community, knowing their needs rather than sitting in the office.
“I want to see where we can assist and where we can (grow) from small-scale industries.
“If mothers are selling a product, how can they make something that we can sell and market because they may not be able to do that.”

  • Sir Mahesh, you are really touching the hearts of ordinary people. Bulk of PNG rural population own land and are subsistence farmers. They have the desire to produce more and sell the surplus but they need market to sell those produce. Sir Mahesh and his company CPL has helped some farmers from the rural area to supply to their produce like bulb onion to the CPL supermarket chain. So I hope your visit to Tari is a beginning of more good things to come for our people there. It would be great if Hela MPs work with Sir Mahesh to forge a relationship to help our farmers in there.
