Softball raising funds

THE Port Moresby Softball Cultural Day, to be hosted by the Port Moresby Women’s softball association will be at the Bisini diamonds on Feb 23.
The cultural day will feature traditional performances from all the existing clubs in both the men’s and women’s associations.
The purpose of the day is to raise funds for the national championships in Kavieng during the Easter Holidays.
Port Moresby women will be sending two teams.
The clubs who want to participate on Saturday are to pay a registration fee of K100 to the treasurer of the association, Hazel Schulz.
Tickets for the day will be on sale at the gate and are K10 for vehicle passes (limited), K5 for adults and K3 for children.
