SPARTANS attacking style could trouble undefeated Trukai Harlequins in an expected fiery clash in Capital Rugby Union (CRU) at Monier Rugby Park tomorrow.

For Spartans, although lacking the experience, play a similar style to the reigning champions and could throw a spanner in the works to derail Harlies winning form.

Spartans with regular performers in Johnson Langogo, Robert Lamboku, Jason Larry and playmaker Sawi Sukumbal have a huge task in the backs challenge.

In the forwards, Spartans coach John Larry has the job to come with a plan to contain Harlequins led by open-side Avosa Kaipu.

On Sunday, Kramer Ausenco Brothers under the helm of former Pukpuk Joe Kautu will come out all guns blazing to claim a much-need points against Kemele University Piggies in a bumper clash.

In the other matches Nova and PNG Ports Wanderers face off in the opening annual challenge for the late Felix Kapua Cup.

The good form of Nova’s No. 8 Elipema Kini will combine well with veteran Kapua Kapuaand new signing Ezra Kautu.

With the return of Dougie Guise and Gairo Varo in the backs, it will be an arm-wrestle against the heavier Wanderers outfit.

For Wanderers their great form in the forwards has been a major feature of late with the likes of former Pukpuk Aaron Miai, Shaun Kamburi and Gary Iga leading the charge.

In the backs, halfback Martin Kambayong formed a dangerous combination with flyhalf Titus Longuni setting up an interesting clash  with Emmanuel Guise and Varo.

Meanwhile Defence coming off a loss should get back on track against Motuan Warriors.
