Speaker advises GG

I REFER to the tussle for the prime minister’s post between Sir Michael Somare and Peter O’Neill.
To my understanding, the judiciary’s responsibility is to interpret the law as it should be and make recommendations to parliament, which can then deliberate on the issue and advise the governor-general the next course of action.
It is to my understanding the governor-general takes advice from the speaker and parliament, not the Supreme Court.
