Spidertek face champions in Corporate 9s preliminary final

SPORTZ Events Corporate Rugby League Nines challenger Spidertek will face stiff opposition from an experience Funeral Home in the cup preliminary final at the National Football Stadium tomorrow night.
Defending champions Funeral Home are aiming to win back-to-back titles.
Funeral Home coach Peter Popal had a scare from Northbuild before going on to win 8-4 in the second half last week.
Speedster Jojo Forova levelled the scores to force the match into golden point extra time with Clency Kei bagging the match winner.
This is Spidertek’s second time to face Funeral Home in a preliminary final. In the other cup preliminary final, Property PNG take on Price WaterhouseCoopers.
The two winners advance to the final later in the night while the losers playoff for the plate.
In the bowl preliminary finals National Sports Trust meets Goodman Fielder International in the first match while Gapi Consultants play ANZ Bank.
Organiser Solomon Ravu said the presentations would take place after the finals.
Ravu appealed to teams to be on time for their matches.
He also commended the teams for their good behaviour.
