Sporting codes receive K10,000 for festive season activities

TWO sporting codes in Rabaul district in East New Britain were lucky recipients of K10,000 each to stage their respective games during the festive season. The games will be held from Dec 30 to Jan 2.
According to Rabaul district sport coordinator Tony Namur, Governor Nakikus Konga presented two cheques to the games coordinators, Dickson Kondaul for softball and Donald Tokunai for rugby league for their respective sports.
Meanwhile, Rabaul district has completed all formalities with the Investment Promotion Authority to register 18 sporting associations in the district and is now awaiting their registration certificates.
