Sports and Central

Letters

THE most talked about subject in all rugby league-playing villages in Central province when the season starts every year is why we are not participating in the Digicel Cup competition.
It is an imbalance as we can see the national team, but again it is the individual effort thing that matters at last.
And for the Central people, we seem to be very smart, reluctant to come out and support the forerunners.
We have tried a couple of times without any good supports from anyone and it is sad to see these bidders’ waste their time and effort trying.
It is time to engage our young people with pathways through sport.
This should help out young Central children focus on their franchise team as feeders.
Over to you bosses.
