THE northern stand of Port Moresby’s Oil Search National Football Stadium will be open to the public for Sunday’s Digicel Cup matches.
Reigning champions Hela Wigmen will face Kimbe Cutters at 12.30pm before giant-slaying Port Moresby Vipers host Gulf Isou at 3pm. Papua New Guinea National Rugby League Competition manager Ora Gairo said in a statement that the stand was located at the Boroko Market end of the stadium.
“Tickets for the Northern Stand will be sold at K10 per person with children under four years old free,” he said.
“There is limited seating due to the pandemic protocols which we have to comply with.”
Gairo warned all spectators to adhere to the strict processes of checks when attending the matches. Ticket prices are K25 (grand stand), K20 (north-west wing), K15 (eastern stand) and K10 (northern stand).
Tickets go on sale at 9am today at the Digicel’s Gordon headquarters and Vision City Mega Mall kiosks, and gate two at the stadium.
