Staff houses to be fixed

BUIEBI Correctional Services (CS) staff houses will undergo reconstruction, according to acting commander Bob Omba.
He said staff houses and other facilities were in a bad state and numerous appeal for help by CS had fallen on deaf ears.
Omba said many contracts awarded in the province were poorly done and money misused.
“When I came in 2015, I established a good working relationship with the provincial government and other stakeholders,” he said.
“We are working in partnership to make sure there is peace.”
Omba said Governor William Powi had listened to their pleas.
