Stokes, PNGeans are not stupid

DEBORAH Stokes’ hot air in the media is deafening. All the rubbish about benefits to Manus Islanders from the asylum seeker deal was just a lot of propaganda. Now, she says a master plan for Angau will take over two years to do before construction starts in 2017. Papua New Guineans are not silly. Master plans do not take more than two years. It is good that you are doing and saying things for the interest of Australians, but do not treat Papua New Guineans as stupid people. The master plan was done years ago and the construction should have started sometime this year or early next year. Any delay or procrastination is only serving Stokes’ own interests.
