Stop flights out of Port Moresby

I READ and listen with deep concern about the increasing Covid-19 cases in Papua New Guinea.
I am even more concerned when I learnt that domestic flights out of Port Moresby were not banned.
From what I observe in other countries that have been successful in controlling the spread of the virus, allowing domestic travel is deeply disturbing.
Restricting domestic travel is the way forward to successfully controlling the spread of the virus.
Can the decision makers immediately explain the reasons why domestic travel is not restricted?
Allowing domestic travel increases the chances of more people getting infected.
