Stop petty crimes in nation’s capital

Letters

LAST week, a school principal’s smartphone was picked from his pocket as soon as he came out of a shop in Boroko, Port Moresby.
On the other side of the street where the Post Office is, there was a group of bystanders listening to the Good News preached by one of the street preachers.
On the other side, there was a small group going about their business.
Is stealing the only way of survival in the nation’s capital?
We are fed up of such behaviours.
This capital city is not meant for only one particular group of people.
It is disgraceful to paint our city in a manner that is unbecoming of a Papua New Guinean and does not portray our national motto “Unity in diversity”.
This should stop.
Something should be done or else Boroko and the nation’s capital will go to the dogs.
