Student fellowship group receives support from Ramu Nico

MADANG-based Ramu NiCo management company recently supported a fundraising event hosted by a Divine Word University student fellowship group to raise funds to  purchase musical instruments for its ministry programmes.
Ramu NiCo Management Limited (MCC), operator of the Kurumbukari nickel mine in Usino-Bundi,  purchased a table for more than K2000 during the dinner hosted by the Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship (TSCF).
The event was held on Aug 12 in  Madang.
Funds raised would be used to purchase musical instruments for the student’s outreach programmes and rallies at the Madang campus.
Ramu NiCo paid K2500 for a table of 10 people.  Executive deputy general manager for community affairs, Yuan Zhi, said: “The company is pleased to contribute to such worthy cause and being a part of positive social changes in Madang town, the province and Papua New Guinea.”
