STUDENTS should never lose sight of their cultural heritage especially in a time where western influence was stronger than ever before, UPNG Enga Students Association president says.

Immanuel Ben told The National it was important to maintain our traditions as it was our identity that showed to the world where we came from.

“We, as intellectuals, must always practice our traditions left behind by our ancestors because they show who we are,” Ben said.

He said holding provincial days like the Enga provincial day and Enga night was a good way to keep our culture intact.
