Student puts in solid performance at ENB inter-school carnival

OUR Lady of Sacred Heart Secondary School student Ruth Lutton put on a solid performance at the East New Britain Inter-School Carnival on Thursday.
She competed in most of the track events and was impressive in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
The Grade 12 said she was hopeful of representing the province and country in the future.
Lutton told The National at Kalabond field, Kokopo, that she was willing to work hard to achieve her goal.
The inter-school carnival is an annual event spearheaded by the ENB Secondary Sports Association.
The purpose of hosting the carnival is to bring all schools together and identify talented students.
The carnival was divided into three divisions – Under-18, U20 and open.
The three-day carnival started last Tuesday and ended on Thursday.
The final results to be made available to all schools on Wednesday.
