Students complete training

FIVE pioneering students completed a week-long training in steam boiler operations dealing with food and beverages canning, palm oil processing, converting heat to energy processing plants.
They were presented with certificates from the Commercial Training College (CTC) in Lae campus.
CTC, over the past 30 years, introduced seven pioneering courses to the country’s industrial training – steam boiler operator; steam turbine operator; bearing technology; and, industrial power transmission training.
Port and shipping management, plant operator training, heavy truck driver and district administration (local level government management) courses were earlier introduced and are now flourishing through number of training providers.
Five participants were sponsored by Mainland Holdings Ltd.
