TOURISM, Arts and Culture Minister Isi Henry Leonard says a submission has been presented to Cabinet for the International Convention Centre (ICC) at Independence Boulevard in Waigani to be occupied by the National Cultural Commission (NCC).
Leonard said this during a farewell reception of NCC and Institute of PNG studies long-serving staff in Port Moresby last week.
“Regarding our office space, there is a submission that we presented before the National Executive Council, (and) in principle they have accepted it,” he said.
“We should take over that International Convention Centre, there are some renovations that needed to be made but I think that is a lame reason, we can fix it and move in there, because we cannot go about and searching for offices.
