SINCE the establishment of Mendi Muruks back in 1996, no players from the Nipa-Kutubu electorate have been able to play in the team.
There are talented and potential youths in the electorate who have been overlooked by the selectors.
I urge our local MP Jeffery Komal and Governor William Powi to initiate rugby league as a project in the electorate.
They must affiliate Nipa-Kutubu Rugby League with the PNGRFL.
I recommend that Mendi Rugby League president Junior Tol organise a competition in the electorate.
