Support NGOs

Letters

STAKEHOLDERS such as NGOs, foundations and private sectors have played a special role in developing this nation since independence.
The national government today maybe concerned more with the development of building roads and bridges, installing communication towers and other projects while stakeholders work with the people to help bring about small changes.
These small changes can lead to the better development.
There a many social problems that this society is facing regarding law and order issue, poverty, criminal activities, disaster, ethnic clash and health issue.
These problems are the most concern areas where stakeholders a stepped in to assist government in rehabilitate people’s
lives and development through conducting workshop and consultation.
The District Development Authority (DDA) introduced in 2015 should partner with the stakeholders in bringing development through the support from the government funding.
I am calling on the government to support and fund the recognise stakeholders to work with each provincial government and district and continue on the partnership.
