Swimmer Kalate flies flag at Youth Olympic Games

Team Papua New Guinea swimmer and flag bearer at the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina, Leonard Kalate, flew the national flag with pride in Buenos Aires on Sunday.
Kalate and flagbearers from other countries were the only ones to take centre stage when they represented their home nations at the opening ceremony.
The ceremony was held at the Obelisk of Buenos Aires.
Athletes were dropped off near the monument and walked the 9 de Julio (9th of July) known for being the widest street in the world.
Everyone who attended the ceremony were left in awe as acrobatic manoeuvres performed on the obelisk depicted a number of sports included in this year’s event.
