Synod bans sale of cook food

THE 27th synod organising committee has banned the sale of all cooked food at the Martin Lutheran Seminary, where the gathering is currently taking place.
The national synod committee and the host district Jabem, on Tuesday ordered all vendors to cease trading.
The synod committee had taken the measure to prevent any cases of cholera outbreak with a large number of people currently attending the synod.
Health workers from the Lutheran Health Services, who are part of the synod programme, could not say whether there were any cases of cholera.
