Take back Hela, then country

Letters

I THANK Opposition leader and Vanimo-Green MP Belden Namah for his concerns about Hela.
Prime Minister James Marape, including Hela governor Philip Undialu, Hela administrator William Bando and other stakeholders should take back Tari-Pori first, before taking back PNG.
Tari-Pori electorate, which James Marape represents in the national parliament, is the worst part of Hela.
High powered weapons are found in that electorate and a lot of fighting and killings has been occurring followed by Komo-Margarima and Koroba-Kopiago.
The prime minister was reluctant to find solutions to the problems, bring peace and save lives of innocent peoples.
Marape should bear in mind that he represents the victims of lawlessness in his electorate Tari-Pori, Hela and PNG, including those killed at Munima-Kandira villages.
What has Marape done with the help of Undialu and Police Minister Bryan Kramer concerning the killings at Munima-Kandira villages of Tari-Poria couple of months ago?
Most schools and health services had shut down, public servants fleeing.
Marape needs to take back Tari-Pori, followed by Hela then Papua New Guinea.
If he finds it hard to take back Tari-Pori and Hela, he cannot take back PNG.

Igiri Hamene,
Victim of Hela lawlessness
