Talapia take down Erak in Gerehu comp

Talapia beat Eraks Brothers 18-4 in round two of the Gerehu Off-Season Rugby League competition on Saturday.
Talapia won their second game of the competition in a one-sided affair when Andy Akso opened the scoring with an unconverted try three minutes in.
Koma James added a converted try to push them out to lead 10-0 at halftime.
Brothers regrouped in the second half to send winger Danzen Evennett over for an unconverted try on the right edge.
A penalty against Brothers saw Talapia slot home a penalty conversion to extend their lead.
Akso closed out the win with his second try.
Talapia coach Sky Joe said: “It was a morale-boosting performance.
“It’s a collective effort from my players that helped us claim victory.
“But we need to remain focused on our matches ahead.”
