Tambul-Nebilyer MP delivers ambulances to health centre, aid post

District Service Improvement Programme (DSIP) funds allocated to the Tambul-Nebilyer electorate in Western Highlands are for the people and will be used on service delivery, MP Win Bakri Daki says.
Daki said this last week after presenting an ambulance each to the Paiakona Health Centre and Tomba aid post and one for the district office.
He said the money was primarily for the people.
Daki said one of his priority areas was to complete building the Tambul Rural Hospital which was initiated by the late Benjamin Poponawa.
Daki said he would complete the hospital and name it the Benjamin Poponawa Memorial Hospital.
He said a rural power supply, water supply and infrastructure projects such as road and bridges were priorities for the district plans.
Daki also gave K2 million for a school fee subsidies in the district.
“I was elected to serve as the leader for five years and I have to continue to serve,” he said.
“We have to aim high and look at what we can do for our electorate and the people.”
