Teachers deserve so much more

 I REFER to Jennifer O’Ronnie’s letter titled “Teachers must do their part too”.

I disagree with your comments on teachers benefitting from the tax payers money without duties being carried out.

If a teacher is absent, there are channels on how this issue can be addressed.

As a concerned parent, you can report the matter to the head teacher or school principal.

It is a few rotten apples who drag the good name of teachers through the dirt.

You have no idea what it is like to be an average income earner, preparing lesson plans daily, being ever present, and never late.

Teachers take pride in producing great students.
