Teachers’ issues still not addressed

Letters

TEACHERS are risking their lives and that of their love ones as frontline workers.
They are working tirelessly to educate future elites of this country.
They are not getting the recognition they deserve.
When teachers want to voice out their grievances, they’re threatened with termination or colourful media promises that has achieved nothing.
It’s already mid-year and there is nothing done to address teachers’ issues.
Why would a teacher be considered a frontline worker and not be paid risk allowances?.
What does the relevant authorities have to say regarding this?
When will teachers get their 2020 and 2021 3 per cent consumer price index?
The Government and the Teaching Service Commission seem to have lost track of teachers’ issues
Wake up and fix this.
If you won’t address teachers’ issues then at least tell them that you won’t.

Aggrieved,
PNG
