Teachers miss out on leave entitlements

MORE than 100 teachers in Eastern Highlands have missed out on leave pay.
Only a few received some payment.
Eastern Highlands Governor Peter Numu had allocated K1 million in the provincial budget for this purpose.
There are some Eastern Highlands officers who claim to be from other provinces and giving false information to receive leave pay.
That benefit is for teachers who left their home provinces to serve the people of Eastern Highlands.
If those Easter Highlands teachers want leave pay, they should serve in other provinces.
We are teachers and we are supposed advocate for truth and honesty.
