Teachers’ salaries

Letters

ELEMENTARY Schools had been instructed since 2015 to knock off classes at 2pm.
This is an increase of two hours from the normal close-up time at 12pm.
But why are elementary school teachers continuing to face underpayment (not on correct salary scale), salary queries goes dead at salary offices, not paid on the extra hours added, not paid on the correct salary percentages, etc?
Why is the system employing these teachers continuing to treat them as silly people?
Just compare Japanese and Australian elementary teachers’ and those in Papua New Guinea.
You will be very surprised to hear what comes to your ears.
These countries and other similar countries understand the beginning of the learning process.
That is why they are very alert and concerned at what an elementary student is taught.
They in turn look after and care for their elementary teachers and schools very well.
They knew very well that their little children will one day run their countries.
The opposite is happening in this country.
A simple question: When is the Government and Teaching Service Commission going to increase elementary teachers’ salary according to the two hours added?
