Team gets uniform sets

 THE National Capital District Commission netball team in the NCD Public Service Netball competition was given a major boostwith two sets of uniforms at City Hall last Friday.

NCD Governor Powes Parkop delivered the uniforms to the team officials and players in a brief presentation.

Governor Parkop said sports promoted healthy  life styles and NCDC encouraged and supported the  initiative taken by its employees to keep fit.

He said the new uniforms for teams in the Public Servants and Private Companies Netball competitions were overdue.

The kind gesture from NCDC and Parkop will continue in future and would include any other sport the staff are involved and associated with.

Team officials were happy to receive the uniforms as that would boost their premiership campaign in division four and eight in the competition.
