TELIKOM PNG has come to the aid of the Spiders, a team who have shown interest to compete in the National Capital District (NCD) leg of the Coca-Cola Ipatas Cup (CCIC)on Dec 14.
This year marks the fourth season for Telikom PNG to sponsor the Spiders in the Hohola Offseason Rugby League competition in Port Moresby.
The company yesterday provided the team with sporting gear such as water bottles, shoes, rugby balls, water bottles and coolers, and shirts worth of K2000.
Meanwhile, NCD CCIC tournament director Simon Maima says teams needed to register before taking the field.
“Registration is an absolute requirement, Maima said.
“NCD will only have 16 teams competing in this year’s leg and 12 teams have already registered while four others are yet to do so.”
Those four teams can deposit their affiliation fee of K1000 to CCIC BSP account number 1001682713 and present a copy of the receipt to competition manager Sam Koi via email on [email protected] or phone on 70544851 to confirm their registration.
The NCD Leg Ipatas Cup tournament will be launched at Granville Motel at 6-Mile on Dec 12.
