BADIGHAGWA Secondary School in Port Moresby became the latest school to be hooked up to the internet service.
Last Friday the students in Hanuabada rose to the Motuan style to mark a milestone in their education history.
Emotions were heavy as students lead the ceremony backed by their teachers.
“This will go down in our school history books, Telikom Foundation Inc. has made a milestone contribution to the education of young people,” principal Maru Bala said.
He said that after hearing so much about the online library concept in the media, he decided that Badihagwa needed the service as well.
“It’s a vital tool for learning and with partnership with Telikom Foundation, our students will be on par with the rest of the world,” Bala said..
“Thank you so much Telikom”.
Telikom Foundation Inc. through its CleanIT online library concept is driving this initiative in many schools so students can access quality information online.
