Ten kilometre race to test POM road runners

THE Port Moresby Road Runners race at 5pm tomorrow from Badihagwa roundabout and finishes at the Gabi end of Hanuabada bypass is over 2.4km, 4.8km  and 10 km distances. 
The long race takes runners out to Atlas Steel and back. 
At this time of year the gentle tail wind assisting runners out frequently becomes a strong headwind for the 5km run home, so those contemplating the race should ensure they have plenty of energy left for the return leg of the run. 
Look for a surging Abdoullah Mitiche to battle it out for line honours with the inform Ben Ellinger, while Stephanie Albert is the clear favourite among the female competitors.
Entry fee is 20t and all interested runners are welcome to participate.
