MONEY invested in a worthwhile cause to the benefit of students, people and the future generations in targeting an educated and healthy population along with the provision of better infrastructure developments is a wise spending of a thinking politician.
And on that note, I wish to take this opportunity in thanking the former Housing and Urbanisation Minister and Minister for Moresby North East John Kaupa and NCD Governor Power Parkop for their tremendous funding assistance of K2.5 million for funds students in relieving the parents of the burden. An assistance given to a single student means you are putting on smile for the two parents, the other family members, relatives and the community at large.
True leaders put the interest, welfare and benefit of the people they promised to serve first.
