I READ your report, “Telco boosts rural health in Kerowagi” (Nov 9) report with interest.
The Barawagi health centre is the proud recipient of Digicel Foundation’s latest donation.
I am sure the fully equipped ambulance, worth K150,000, will be used to deliver the much needed basic health care to the people of Barawagi and its surrounding community.
It will complement the services of other churches and government-run health services in the district.
According to Simbu Geobook (2004), Chimbu has 36 health and sub-health centres and 68 aid posts.
