IT is good to see trucks are finally parking at the designated area to offload vegetables unlike in the past at the Gordon market.
Previously, we get all sorts of riffraff in the market area.
NCD Governor Powes Parkop stepped in and he has cleared out these people who are more interested in illegal activities than anything else.
It has been a relief for vendors and shoppers.
I would like to commend the governor and his team, and our policemen for flushing away “the dirt” so that the people can now freely move around and enjoy marketing.
Betelnut vendors, who are most affected by the move, should conduct their trade at the allocated places instead of setting up shop all over the place.
